Updates will come in the evening, but I stumbled upon this video and couldn’t resist sharing it. It connects us all;

it’s the same song from yesterday, ‘A Song for the Ascents,’ but sung by a different company of soldiers. Listen to how they sing from the heart – it’s amazing and empowering!
Psalm 121, A Song for the Ascents.

Every line is an alarm, that is, a barrage of missiles,
In each line it is written how much time I have to get to the shelter,
And under it is written how long ago there was an alarm.

10:31 PM

ok, let’s start,
Sorry for the delay, but my nephews needed a little extra attention, and then in the shower, an alarm caught me, in short, it’s not boring here 🙂
After all, Hamas decided to be really persistent today, every hour a rocket barrage, but really every hour, I’ll attach the video and you’ll see for yourself, that the last one was at ten at night which is half an hour ago, and before that every hour, maddening.

I’m guessing that it’s also because US President Joe Biden is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, and they know that when he’s here, they’ll have to give a quiet moment, because if God forbid he gets hurt… you can imagine for yourself what will happen.

This photo was taken in the last Alarm, in the middle of Road 1
(Tel-Aviv – Jerusalem)

One road. An alarm sounds. Missiles intercepted overhead.
This is what the photographer observed:

Beside me, a young mother shields her baby’s cradle, visibly frightened. A police officer notices her from a distance, approaches her, removes his helmet from his head and places it on hers, then drapes the ceramic vest over the baby. These are our police officers.
Respect.

10:34 PM

And just to refresh your memory,
here is a video released by Hamas, showing you one missile barrage, only one missile barrage!!!
Count how many missiles they fire at him, and now realize that it’s like this every hour here.

Want to understand what it’s like to live in Israel?
It’s about living in a strange and constantly shifting reality, where any moment can bring change. Consider the singer Eden Hason.

In one hand, he holds a black shirt to sing at a soldier’s funeral, and in the other, a white shirt for singing at a soldier’s wedding. And both events are happening close by.

This is our life in Israel, where we’re geared up for joy, yet everything changes so rapidly. God willing, we will know only happiness someday.

10:50 PM

I don’t know if you’ve been following the news in the last few hours, but there have been reports from Gaza that a hospital there was bombed, resulting in over 500 deaths, along with numerous injuries.

It’s important to understand that, while such an incident may have occurred, war can unfortunately lead to tragic mistakes and harm to innocent people. However, there are significant points to consider:
A. The Israeli Air Force has precise maps indicating the locations of hospitals, and there is a clear directive not to fire shells even in the immediate vicinity. Our pilots, seasoned in such operations, are well aware that targeting a hospital would only result in international repercussions for Israel.

B. There’s also the fact that reports from Gaza and Hamas can sometimes be exaggerated or not entirely based on reality. Often, any medical facility, regardless of its size or capacity, is referred to as a ‘hospital.’

C. Upon rechecking Gaza and Hamas networks, the reported number of casualties suddenly dropped from 500 to 200. The footage of the wounded in what is claimed to be a bombed hospital doesn’t seem to match the reality of such an incident.

D. There’s also the possibility of a misfired missile intended for Israel exploding near a medical facility. For example, there was an incident where a car exploded in traffic, initially suspected to be a targeted assassination. It was later revealed to be a vehicle carrying missiles and weapons that accidentally detonated.
In war, mistakes tragically do happen.
However, it’s crucial not to accept everything reported by the media at face value without thorough verification.

11:08 PM UPDATE

the IDF announced shortly that the “hospital” was indeed bombed in a misfire of a missile from Hamas
And no, the IDF does not make this up, we have no problem taking responsibility for the mistakes we made in the past and continue doing so.

Two Pictures One Dear Kotz Family

The community mourns deeply as the Kotz family from Gaza village is laid to rest. The family – parents Aviv and Livnat, their soldier daughter Rotem, and teenagers Yonatan and Yiftach – were tragically murdered by terrorists in a massacre in the southern kibbutz on October 7.

‘Every human being is a whole world, and you were our whole world.
Our hearts are broken and we have no consolation,’ their relatives eulogized during the funeral.
The five members of the Kotz family were laid to rest amid large crowds at the cemetery in Gan Yavneh. Their story has touched hearts worldwide.

The family was completely wiped out in the massacre. Father Aviv worked as VP at Aviv Consulting, and mother Livnat was a graphic artist. Rotem, 18, served as a commander of a rookie squad in Bahad 7 of the ICT Corps. Yonatan and Yiftach, both students at Kfar HaYarok and members of Hapoel Tel Aviv’s basketball academy, were in eleventh and ninth grades, respectively.

Many attendees wore red shirts to the funeral, a nod to the family’s connection with the basketball team.
The massacre in the village of Gaza resulted in dozens of fatalities, including many children.
Some residents are still missing, while others have been confirmed as abducted.

Col. Shlomi Kedem, Rotem Kotz’s commanding officer, paid tribute to her. ‘Rotem was a special commander, always adhering to her values. She had a bright future ahead, and those who knew her gained a true friend,’ he said.
‘The Kotz family’s untimely demise at the hands of brutal murderers will forever be remembered.’

Ziv and Adi, Livnat’s siblings, spoke on behalf of the family. ‘How do you bury five pure souls? Yiftach with his golden curls, gentle soul; Jonathan, admired by all; Rotem, who brought light and joy; Aviv, the exemplary father; and Livnat, the pride of our family,’ Ziv mournfully expressed. ‘We were all set to spend that fateful Shabbat at the kibbutz, a day that turned into tragedy.’

The Beautiful Arava Family

We already said that Hamas terrorists like to document everything, psychopaths, “fortunately” it only proves their atrocities.
The Poor Arava family had to endure it before they were slaughtered by Hamas.
May God will avenge their death!
Terrorists invaded the Araba family’s home and broadcasted the ordeal live on the mother Dikala’s Facebook.
During the stream, they forced Tomer, the son, to move between houses, knocking on doors to lure more people outside.
Miraculously, no one else emerged.

The horror this family endured is indescribable. The mix of fear, shock, and concern that Mother Dikala must have felt is unimaginable.
Her husband, shot in the leg, sat beside her covered in blood, waiting for rescue with their children.

It’s hard to comprehend what Tomer experienced, sitting there, clutching his mother’s hand, amidst such terror. Or to understand what 12-year-old Dafna went through, witnessing her family’s murder and now being held captive in Gaza.

How does one come to terms with such a beautiful and perfect family being torn apart so tragically?
This evening, family and relatives gathered to bury Dikla, the mother. However, the funeral procession halted momentarily when the body of her son Tomer was identified. They continued, mother and son not separated even in death.

Later, news broke that the body of the father, Noam, was also identified, while 14-year-old Dafna and 8-year-old Ella remain missing.

To connect the dots from last week’s update, this is the family featured in the live broadcast taken by Hamas. Writing this down is heart-wrenching.

Remember UNRWA? The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)?
It’s an organization exclusively for Palestinian ‘refugees.’ Other refugees around the world are served by a different UN agency, but Palestinians have their own unique organization.

The reasons for this are unclear to many, and perhaps only God truly understands why.
But let’s set that aside for a moment and look at what UNRWA recently tweeted.
A series of tweets from UNRWA discussing the war Hamas declare on Israel.

Remember what I posted a couple of days ago about Hamas Blocking the road for the Gazanian people, preventing them from running south?

If not? it’s ok I know, a lot of information, so let me remind you for a bit

These aren’t snowflakes, nor are they some secret weapon. They are leaflets dropped by an Air Force plane over Gaza.
Written in Arabic, these leaflets notify the local residents that their area will soon be shelled and advise them to evacuate by a specified time.

The leaflets also provide guidance on where to go, specifically directing them to move south towards Khan Yunis for safety.

11:46 PM

Now watch this 40 sec’ video,  and wait for the end of it

11:48 PM

And just in case you need it, here are the satellite images showing the roadblock set up by Hamas and the resulting traffic that’s unable to proceed.

11:57 PM

And for those who are still skeptical about the hospital that blew up in Gaza this evening, here’s a video recording from Kibbutz Netiv HaThara. It was taken during a rocket barrage on Israel. You can skip the first 15 seconds, and then you’ll see one of the rockets falling and exploding in Gaza.

However, it’s likely they will portray this incident to the world as if Israel bombed a hospital… It’s up to each and every one of you to counter their falsehoods with the evidence you see here.

12:14 AM

And don’t forget,
It is not only Israelis who are kidnapped and murdered by Hamas, it is also your citizens, wherever you come from.

Let’s not reduce their murders and kidnappings to mere statistics. We must remember the faces, the individuals, the children, and the grandparents.

Vivian Silver, a 74-year-old peace activist, grandmother, and friend, is feared abducted by Hamas following their attack on her home. A well-known Canadian-Israeli peace advocate, Silver regularly cycled through trails near the Gaza border, reflecting on the disparities between Israel and Gaza.

On Saturday, when Hamas operatives crossed into her home in Kibbutz Be’eri, murdering over a hundred and kidnapping many,
Silver’s family lost contact with her.
Days earlier, on October 4, she had participated in a peace rally in Jerusalem.

That Saturday, as the situation escalated, Silver communicated with her loved ones until about 11 a.m. She then hid in a closet safe room, joking about keeping a knife there next time.
Her last message was about the intruders leaving, and she hasn’t been heard from since.

Vivian Silver has been a lifelong activist.
Raised in Winnipeg, Canada, she was involved in the North American Jewish Students Network and the Jewish Student Press Service in the 1970s. She later moved to Israel, co-founded Kibbutz Gezer with Habonim Dror, and settled in Kibbutz Be’eri.
Silver also served as co-executive director of the Arab-Jewish Center for Equality, Empowerment, and Cooperation.

She worked towards the betterment of the Bedouin community and Arab citizens in Israel, and as a volunteer for Road to Recovery, she regularly assisted Palestinians needing medical care.
Silver’s abduction is a cruel irony given her lifelong commitment to Israeli-Palestinian peace.
Her friends and family have launched efforts to locate her, including a Facebook page ‘Missing Vivian Silver,’ and have reached out to the Red Cross and the Canadian government for assistance.
Update: After 38 days, the body of Vivian Silver, who was considered abducted, was identified.
She was brutally murdered by Hamas.

Amotz Brandes shares his perspective:
‘Incredible! The Palestinian “journalist” fails to answer the question, repeatedly defaulting to the “Israeli Occupation” mantra.

Israel withdrew unilaterally from Gaza in 2005, giving Gazans an opportunity to transform their region into a thriving area like Monte Carlo, Singapore, or Dubai. Israel and Arab nations would have supported this transformation.

However, the Gazans elected Hamas to lead them.
Now, they are under the influence of a terror organization and propaganda machine, mirroring the systems established by Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels. The people of Gaza are facing the consequences of the choices they made and continue to make.

I’m about to share something shocking, and I haven’t censored the following video. I might have sent it earlier, but as I’ve said before,
with so much information, it’s easy to get lost.

Sometimes, we need visual evidence to truly grasp what happened here on the morning of October 7th, a day that was meant to be a holy holiday but tragically turned into a day of brutal massacre by psychopaths.

Please note, this content is not suitable for children.

As I sign off for today, I’ll leave you with the same song from yesterday, ‘A Song for the Ascents’ from Psalm 121.

Earlier at noon, I shared Berry Sakharof’s performance of it for the soldiers at the front. Now, I’m sending another video, this time featuring artist Harel Sekat visiting the wounded in the hospital. During an alarm, everyone moved to a protected area amidst a deafening silence. It was then that he began to sing the ‘Song for the Ascents’ prayer – a truly powerful and moving moment. love to all.

Ok,
I just received two videos of the rocket fire from tonight, I had to share them with you, this is how our nights look like. The explosions that are seen in the sky is when the Iron Dome manages to intercept the missiles, as you can see, not all of them.
