Shalom everybody,
Please excuse me for keeping it short today. It’s been a long day, looking for a job and working on the webinar for Thursday. Tomorrow, I will post the link for the meeting as well as the time. … Missiles and rockets, all throughout the day, as usual…

12:27 AM

I swear to you, I don’t need to explain anything; the Hamas people do it best.

They don’t care about the Gazans… he says it himself.
As for the fact that he calls them refugees, this is already a topic for a whole webinar in itself, discussing who is a refugee and what is the consciousness of the refugee.

A horrible and shocking picture, and that’s why it’s blurry. I’m sending it so that we never forget what Hamas did to civilians here. What you see are tied hands. After Hamas tied people’s hands, the abuse began, and I don’t need to elaborate; you can imagine for yourself.

Some of you have been to Israel, and it’s possible that you even participated in archaeological excavations, maybe not even in Israel. It’s true that it was exciting to dig in the ground and find a greeting from the past, and sometimes a bone or two. You know what’s not cool? You know what the archaeologists of the Antiquities Authority didn’t think they would do in life?

They will dig through the ruins in the various kibbutzim, in order to find human bones, because yes, the terrorists burned everything, fired RPGs at the houses and at those who were inside. So all that was left was to bring in the people who know how to identify bones among the ruins the best, archaeologists.

The chairs of the kidnapped near my house, waiting for their return.

In France, Jewish houses and shops began to be marked… Reminds you of something? Where else did we mark (in the not so distant past) houses and shops of Jews, I wonder…

12:53 AM

You know that I occasionally bring you videos that are longer than usual, which require a little more from you.

These are the most important videos because they truly explain to us and help us understand the complex picture here. The following video is such a video; it’s half an hour long.

Do yourself a favor, set aside half an hour of your time, put everything aside, and watch it. But don’t just watch; listen.

INSS researcher Ofir Winter spoke with Dalia Ziada, an Egyptian writer specializing in security studies and geopolitics, and the Executive Director of MEEM Center for Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean Studies. Ziada said that Israel is now fighting Hamas not on behalf of itself alone but on behalf of the entire region.

Furthermore, Israel is doing what every other country in the world would do if its citizens were attacked during a holiday and were killed in their own houses. She also explained the reasons for Egypt’s concern regarding hosting displaced citizens from Gaza, envisioned what a region without Hamas might look like, and suggested steps Israel should take to better explain its position to its Arab neighbors.

Ben Cohen, who took the photo, writes:
There is something very powerful when you stand inside a house that is all burnt from the inside, and beyond the window, you suddenly notice living and breathing green. And maybe it’s a small ray of light.

There is always hope. I’m back now to rest from the shaking day. And despite the sights and smells and the bitter taste that accompanies you as you walk between the houses, I’m sure this place will flourish again.

The residents I meet know this.
The question is whether the state will finally fulfill its role as a state is supposed to do and take responsibility for its citizens!

I want to end this day with a song that gives me a lot of strength when everything seems black and dark around us.
But just before, you know that I am Jewish, and yet, I traveled with quite a few of you who saw how much respect I have for other religions, both in my words and in my heart.

It’s a song by a Christian group called Bethel, and I mention this because there are almost 400 people here from all religions: Jews, Christians, Muslims, and maybe other religions too—I didn’t check one by one, lol.

I want you to hear the next song as a powerful, pure song designed to fill us with faith, strength, and energy. This is one of the songs that fills me with so much power and energy, that one day will come and it will be better here, and our children will not have to run to shelters, and an alarm will not sound every minute, and people will not be harmed in their homes just because they are Jewish.

Put religion aside for a moment and feel the energy that fills you, no matter who you are, no matter where you are from, no matter if you are Jewish, Christian, or Muslim; it doesn’t matter because we are all children of God!

So raise your hallelujah to the sky, and take a moment, each and every one of you, to say a small prayer in your heart that the war will end, better days will come, and together we will create a symphony of prayers.
